For more than three decades, Power Rangers has been a part of our lives, and soon, a new documentary series titled “Hollywood Demons” by Investigation Discovery will shed light on some of the somber and ominous episodes from this franchise’s past. Starting later this month, you can stream six fresh documentaries dedicated to Hollywood, with one of them delving into the Power Rangers saga. To get an idea of what the documentary is about, take a look at the trailer below.
Following an initial overview, the trailer transitions to scenes featuring the individual who was imprisoned in 2017 for trying to harm or kill Jason David Frank, a franchise star, by bringing weapons to Phoenix Comicon. This individual was apprehended, convicted on charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault, and is currently serving a 25-year sentence in a state mental health facility.
The video transitions to another heartbreaking tale, displaying photographs of the deadly sword involved in a stabbing incident. Notably, Ricardo Medina Jr., who portrayed the Red Lion Wild Force Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force, was imprisoned for six years in 2015 due to a voluntary manslaughter conviction after he stabbed his roommate with a sword.
