It’s been verified that Lady Gaga’s seventh studio album, titled “Mayhem,” is set for release on the 7th of March, 2025.

The upcoming album, previously known as LG7, has had its official release date revealed. This announcement was made public through billboards that mysteriously popped up in New York and Las Vegas during the night.

In an Instagram post, Gaga clarified that the creation of her new album was a journey where she confronted her apprehension about revisiting the pop music that resonated with her initial fans.

She mentioned that her creative method resembles a fragmented mirror: although it might not be possible to restore it flawlessly, you can still produce something stunningly unique and complete by arranging the fragments in a different manner.

Mayhem will feature 14 songs, including the previously released Die With a Smile and Disease.

The full track list is yet to be announced.

Last week, there was much anticipation that an official release date would be announced for Gaga’s upcoming album, as a cryptic timer showed up on her site. This countdown was set to finish on Monday, the 27th of January, at 4 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

When you removed the website’s blue background with a mouse, it revealed the text “LG7”.

Last year during the premiere of the Gaga Chromatica Ball movie in Los Angeles, it was revealed that fresh music from the singer was imminent. This was hinted at by a newly released track which ended with the phrase, “LG7. Gaga reappears.

During the question-and-answer session at the event, Lady Gaga shared (as reported by Rolling Stone): “I’m working in the studio every day. I’ve written numerous songs, and I’ve been producing many of them, and it’s unlike anything I’ve created before.

She went on to say: “I have a passion for transcending musical genres and venturing into new sounds. It’s incredibly moving to realize that my creativity will always find appreciation, regardless of the path I choose.
