As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that McFarlane Toys is unveiling the second figure in their Cover Recreations DC Multiverse series, and it’s none other than the legendary character from the 1988 comic, Batman: The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland. This figure showcases the Joker, with his chilling grin as he peers through his camera lens. Much like the previous figure based on Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns #1 cover, this one is expected to be a 7-inch scale collectible, complete with accessories and an authentic cover reprint backdrop for the ultimate display. Catch a sneak peek of the teaser image below!
Similar to how The Dark Knight Returns figure is exclusive to a certain retailer, the Joker from The Killing Joke will only be available on Amazon. You can expect it to arrive on Thursday, February 20th, and the price will be approximately $29.99. We’ll add a direct link once it’s live, so keep an eye out for updates here.
Speaking of McFarlane Toys updates, they’ve expanded their selection of 1:3 scale replicas. These new additions draw inspiration from various sources – The Dark Knight Returns comic, the Justice League movie featuring Ben Affleck, and the Arkham Asylum video game.
Order your cowl replicas ahead of time on Entertainment Earth or Amazon, now available for $14.99 each. Keep in mind that this collection follows 1:3 scale cowl replicas inspired by Batman Begins with Christian Bale, the Batman: Hush comics, and Detective Comics #27’s first appearance of Batman. You may discover these cowls using the provided Amazon and EE links, in addition to the full-size Dark Knight cowl replica that was released last month.
