Suzanne Collins’ novel Sunrise on the Reaping has only been released for over a month, but the fanbase has already shown great interest in this story, especially since it was announced that a film adaptation was in progress. Fans have quickly grown fond of Maysilee, and they are ready to put their trust in Grace to bring her character to life.
In the latest novel titled “Sunrise on the Reaping,” the story is once again set within the world of Panem. It serves as a follow-up, yet also a prequel, to the renowned “The Hunger Games” trilogy. While “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” occurred 64 years prior to Katniss Everdeen’s games, this new story unfolds 40 years later, making it 24 years before her brave volunteer act. By now, Coriolanus Snow has risen to the presidency and has firmly established his power, causing life in Panem to undergo a significant transformation.
18-year-old Grace is well-recognized in Hollywood, having started her acting journey at the tender age of five. She first gained recognition on the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein and has been consistently working since then. Notably, she played Phoebe in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Frozen Empire, portrayed young Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, a young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, and had a six-episode stint as Esther Keyes on The Handmaid’s Tale.
Grace might be particularly familiar to horror enthusiasts due to her significant achievements within the genre.
