2025’s Eurovision Song Contest has already started, as the initial 15 performances have been staged, each vying for a place in the Grand Final on Saturday evening.
Beyond the outstanding acts – such as those from Spain, Italy (part of the Big Five), and defending champions Switzerland – there was an exceptionally enjoyable performance by the Swiss hosts themselves, who entertained the crowd with ‘Made in Switzerland’ during the voting period.
For people in Switzerland, these names might be well-known, but that may not hold true for viewers in the United Kingdom.

Born in California to parents of Swiss and German descent, Hazel Brugger is a multinational slam poet and comedian who hails from the United States, Switzerland, and Germany.
Initially, Hazel launched her television journey back in 2016, serving as a correspondent on the satirical German program titled heute-show. In the year 2019, Hazel embarked on a YouTube series alongside her husband Thomas Spitzer. Together, they present this series where they delve into and converse about peculiar locations with other popular German comedians.
Who is Sandra Studer?

Job: Singer and TV presenter
To many Eurovision enthusiasts, Sandra Studer may be familiar as she represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1991.
From that point on, Studer climbed the ladder of success and has since embarked on a multifaceted career encompassing TV hosting and acting. Before taking the helm of this year’s competition, Studio had previously served as the host for the Swiss national selection program, in addition to being Switzerland’s representative and commentator during the contest.
