Meet Olympic Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik’s Girlfriend Tess McCracken

As a sports journalist with a background in reporting on Olympic Games, I have had the privilege of witnessing and documenting historic moments in athletics. However, none have touched me as deeply as the stories of first-time Olympians making their mark at Paris 2024.

Turns out everyone’s favorite new Superman has already found his Lois Lane.

Over these past eight years, I’ve been head-over-heels enamored with my remarkable partner, Stephen Nedoroscik – the glasses-clad pommel horse maestro who stole everyone’s hearts as part of the U.S. men’s gymnastics team at the 2024 Olympics. Tess McCracken here, and I can’t help but gush about my beloved Clark Kent glasses hero!

I couldn’t believe my eyes as I watched my beloved from a distance in Paris. The tension was palpable as Brody Malone, Frederick Richard, Asher Hong, and Paul Juda gave their all for their team. And then, it happened. My heart skipped a beat as I saw my obsession clinch the bronze medal for them. Sixteen long years since the USA had brought home a team medal, and here we were, making history. Words fail me in expressing how proud I am of you. This was an unforgettable moment that will forever stay etched in my memory.

1. Since the retired gymnast has witnessed Nedoroscik’s heroics since the start, they had a chance to meet before their freshman year at Penn State.

Four years ago, as they graduated in 2020 and celebrated on the Fourth of July, he reflected: “I had the entirety of my college journey still to look forward to at that point. Unknown to me, I’d already discovered what I most enjoyed about university life.”

Together, the pair stuck the landing throughout their college careers.

Born in Texas, gymnast McCracken who honed her skills on balance beam, uneven bars, and floor exercise under the tutelage of Simone Biles’ coaches Cecile Canqueteau-Landi and Laurent Landi, was recognized as a contender for the AAI Award, an honor bestowed upon the country’s top senior athlete.

Despite having to retire from gymnastics at the age of 26 due to the coronavirus pandemic, she posted on Facebook on March 14, 2020: “Gymnastics, I’ll cherish our time together, but for now, this is just a temporary goodbye. I’ll return to compete again soon.” However, she has since then dedicated herself to supporting her partner.

After making it onto the Olympic team for 2024, Nedoroscik, who is the 2021 World Champion and a two-time NCAA National Champion in the pommel horse event, expressed his appreciation for McCracken, whom he fondly referred to as his “beautiful cheerleader.”

On Instagram, posted on July 1st, the native of Worcester, Massachusetts, expressed, “I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this without your help.” He added, “I cherish you.”

Indeed, McCracken, based in Florida, wouldn’t need to, as he joined the 25-year-old in Paris. There, he took off his glasses and performed flawlessly in his signature event.

A few weeks ago, she became aware of the approaching July 4th, remarking in classic Swiftie style that she had adored him for eight summers past: “Yet, dear, I long for more. Happy Anniversary, my love. What a fantastic journey we’ve been on.”

Indeed, they aren’t the sole couple rejoicing. I can guarantee, as you delve into the rich tapestry of historical events that have unfolded in the city of love – Paris – your heart will swell with emotion.

In an extraordinary achievement, the Romanian athlete at the Olympics became the first man from his country to claim a golden victory in swimming, triumphing in the 200m freestyle competition.

“Can you believe it? Three-peat of Olympic glory for the 100m backstroke! On July 29th, our beloved Team USA swimmer claimed the bronze, making him the first man since 1972 to stand on an Olympic podium for this event in three consecutive Games. This is nothing short of an American victory story!”

The new prize joined his existing impressive medals, obtained at the Tokyo 2020 and Rio de Janeiro Games 2016, both for the same competition.

An Australian female swimmer broke the Olympic record in the women’s 200m freestyle with a remarkable time of 1:53.27, surpassing her teammate and previous champion, Ariarne Titmus, to claim the gold medal.

At the Olympics, no other gymnast had executed a “Biles I” – a challenging move that consists of a double layout with a half-twist – before Heron managed to do so, following Simone Biles’ initial performance.

1. During the gymnastics qualifier, the Panamanian athlete pulled off the move flawlessly, even when facing off against the stunt’s original performer.

1. Canada’s judo team claimed their inaugural gold medal, with Deguchi leading the charge by overpowering Huh Mimi from South Korea in an intense clash on July 29th.

1. The canoeist clinched a gold medal in K1, making them the first Australian athlete to secure four successive Olympic medals in the same event. This achievement includes a bronze from Tokyo 2020 and Rio de Janeiro 2016, as well as a silver from London 2012.

She is now tied with Slovakia’s Michal Martikán as the most-decorated Olympic slalom paddler.

1. During her debut at the Summer Games, the American swimmer set a new Olympic record in the 100m butterfly semifinals, completing the race in just 55.38 seconds.

As an obsessed fan of South Sudan, I can’t contain my excitement as I recount the historic moment when this young nation made its Olympic debut on July 28. I cheered them on as they took to the basketball court for the first time against formidable opponents, Puerto Rico.

The South Sudan Bright Stars won their first-ever Olympic game with a final score of 90-79.

For the very first time at the Olympics, Jordan had a male gymnast, Abu Al-Soud, participate in the event on the pommel horse. In the qualifying round, he achieved a score of 12.466.

1. During the Paris Summer Games, Syria made history by having its first male gymnast participate in the Olympics. This was none other than Najjar who excelled particularly in the all-around competition.

1) In the last sixteen years, it had been Team USA’s turn to wait for a medal in men’s gymnastics. However, Stephen Nedoroscik, Frederick Richard, Brody Malone, Paul Juda, and Asher Hong managed to break this streak by securing a bronze.

1. During the Opening Ceremony, a Greek basketball player became the first Black individual to carry the country’s flag, making historical precedence.

The sixteen-year-old track and field star made history with Team USA by being the youngest male athlete ever selected for the 4x400m relay team.

speaking of the youngest athlete ever to represent Team USA, that title goes to gymnast Rivera, who only recently turned sixteen a few weeks prior to her selection for the women’s gymnastics team.
