This screen is an advanced Lumina display, leveraging the cutting-edge OLED technology that ASUS currently offers. With 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, the laptop’s specification delivers a strong performance in a compact, lightweight form.

The Zenbook A14’s internal chip, combined with its other features, transforms it into an advanced PC equivalent to a Copilot+ model. This laptop boasts impressive capabilities, as evidenced by its 45 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second), which are primarily driven by its Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The ASUS Zenbook A14 offers up to 32 hours of offline video playback, but since many users won’t be utilizing their laptop solely for this purpose, the more relevant figure is its 19.5 hours of web browsing on a single charge. While it might not quite reach that number, the Zenbook A14 can comfortably last an entire workday without needing a recharge. Depending on your specific workflow, you could potentially extend a single charge over multiple days.

What is Ceraluminum?

I’ve brought up the Ceraluminum of the Zenbook A14 a few times, so let me clarify what this material entails. First seen on the Zenbook S 16 and Zenbook S 14 laptops, Ceraluminum is a special blend of aluminum and ceramic. To create this unique material, aluminum is submerged in an electrolytic bath filled with hot water. This process gives it its various color options and finishes. Additionally, the manufacturing process for Ceraluminum is more environmentally friendly compared to traditional aluminum anodization methods.

According to ASUS, when aluminum is placed in an electrolytic bath consisting of pure water and minerals, it forms a layer due to oxidation. This layer isn’t actually a coating but rather a part of the aluminum itself as it grew out from it. As a result, this layer makes the aluminum 100% recyclable because it remains an integral part of the original aluminum.

Without getting into specifics of science and production, Ceraluminum is a robust and adaptable substance that’s smudge-resistant too. The Zenbook A14 innovatively employs this material for its entire body, whereas previous models with this material used it only for the cover; the rest was made from different materials.
