Showrunner Graham Yost hinted that Rebecca Ferguson’s character Juliette will find herself in a perilous situation during the second season. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he explained: “Juliette struggles to enter another silo because her suit is running low on air and she’s seeking safety.

He went on: “The wondrous tape that Walker [Harriet Walter] arranged for her to have her suit wrapped in, that’s going to fail. A lot of the episode is about Juliette just trying to survive and the engineering stuff she has to do to try to stay alive.”

According to Hugh Howey’s Wool trilogy of books, the story delves into the existence of the final 10,000 humans on Earth, living in a massive shelter that extends a mile deep, providing sanctuary from the harmful and lethal environment beyond.

In this story, Rebecca Ferguson (from Dune) portrays Juliette, an engineer on a quest to discover who murdered someone dear to her. As we journey with her, she unwittingly delves into a mystery that reaches depths beyond anything she could have foreseen. Will she manage to unveil the truth?
