As a dedicated cinephile, I can’t help but get excited about the return of the gripping Prime Video series, Reacher, in its third season! Once again, it’s my pleasure to see Alan Ritchson stepping into the shoes of Jack Reacher, a character that has captivated readers and viewers alike due to Lee Child’s iconic novels.
The upcoming season draws inspiration from the seventh novel in Child’s Persuasion series, and Ritchson hints that it’s undeniably our finest production to date.
He shared with Collider: “From start to end, this is top-notch action, this is the pinnacle of television, and I am eagerly anticipating everyone getting a chance to see it.
I don’t want to spoil it for you, but in Persuader, Reacher finds himself going undercover and having to deal with some tough situations – not just to keep himself alive, but also to locate someone he’s searching for. It gets quite risky.
Similar to books, where Reacher constantly travels to different locations, resulting in a minimal recurring cast, the series follows suit. Interestingly enough, only Ritchson and Maria Sten, who were part of the primary cast in seasons one and two, have returned.
