Meet the New Gladiators: Cyclone and Hammer Set to Dominate the Arena!

In just two days, BBC One will air the second season of Gladiators, and we’ve got two fresh faces joining the team: Cyclone and Hammer!

23-year-old, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall, hails from Ireland and goes by the name of a Powerlifter. She sees herself as the epitome of a versatile athlete.

In the meantime, Hammer, a resident of Nottingham standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall, contends that his unique blend of strength and speed, coupled with his towering stature, distinguishes him from others.

Cyclone said in a statement: “I’ve got the look, I’ve got the energy and I’ve got the muscles.”

Hammer said: “When you’ve got 19 stone sprinting at you, you’ve got no chance. I’m getting you.”

Earlier reports suggested that two actors were set to appear on the show, though their specific roles hadn’t been disclosed yet.

In the upcoming sequel, I’ll be rejoining a thrilling cast of characters that include Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel, and Viper. We’re all set to bring the arena to life once more!

In the upcoming episodes of the show hosted by Bradley and Barney Walsh, it’s anticipated that Nitro will make a comeback, but this time in a new role due to an injury that requires him to stay off the field.

Under the handle Nitro (formerly known as Harry Aikines-Aryeetey), announced on Instagram that he would have to take a break from competing this series due to an unforeseen knee injury sustained during preparations for season 2 earlier this year. In his post, he expressed, “While I’m all about speed, life sometimes throws me a curveball!

Fear not, I’m regaining strength and full of vigor like never before! Rest assured, you’ll continue seeing me ignite the Nitro vibe on your screens, cheering on my fellow combatants, and maintaining an electrifying atmosphere. Here’s to series 2 of Gladiators! Let the games begin!
