Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s family is transforming.
Actress from Transformers and her ex-fiance, known as Colson Baker, became parents to a baby girl on March 27. He announced this joyous news via his Instagram account.
“She’s finally here!!” MGK wrote. “Our little celestial seed.”
Additionally, he shared that Travis Barker played a significant role in welcoming their daughter with his music. He further mentioned, “Together we created the soundtrack for her birth. What an incredible adventure. Hallelujah to God.
Megan and MGK’s two-year engagement was terminated in December, a mere month following Megan’s public announcement of her pregnancy, which she shared through a photo shoot and touching statement that alluded to her past pregnancy miscarriage.
Her Nov. 11 post was captioned with ‘Nothing truly disappears.’ She added a heart and baby emoji, indicating a warm welcome.
In the picture, Megan (the mother of Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green) is pictured with a black substance on her, tenderly holding her growing belly.
As the 38-year-old prepares for a new phase in her motherhood journey, the path to meeting her upcoming child has been challenging. Last year, the author of “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous” disclosed that she experienced a miscarriage with her and MGK’s baby.
Speaking on Good Morning America, I shared that I had never experienced anything quite like it before in my life. As a mother of three children, it was an incredibly challenging time for both of us. This experience propelled us on a tumultuous journey, one that took us through various twists and turns together and apart. We grappled with understanding the implications, trying to make sense of ‘What is happening?’ and ‘Why did this occur?’, seeking answers and navigating our way forward.
Despite having a tumultuous relationship that lasted for four years, ending in a permanent split, they appear dedicated to maintaining amicable co-parenting roles following the latest conflict between MGK and Brian, for the sake of their new family member.
When it comes to the family of rapper MGK, who co-parents a 15-year-old daughter named Casie with ex Emma Cannon, he acknowledges a tense relationship with his own parents. However, he aspires to break that pattern and establish a healthier dynamic when considering the growth of his own family.
Despite what some may think of me, I truly hope I can establish a bond with my child that I didn’t have with my parents,” he expressed on the ‘Life Lessons’ YouTube series in 2015. “When I’m with her, everything else fades away.
And like all parents, the “maybe” singer just wants his kids to be happy.
As I trailed behind my daughter at the airport the other day, her steps were like a radiant skip, such pure enthusiasm radiating from her – it’s as if she’s brimming with the joy of living, so young at heart. In a heartfelt plea to all existing deities, I hope that this infectious zest never fades and may no force ever tamper with it, MGK, 34, expressed during his visit on The Drew Barrymore Show in December 2021.
In essence, Megan has been quite transparent regarding the highs and lows she experiences while co-parenting her eldest three kids.
She shared with Glamour U.K in an interview from April 2022 that she gets to spend half of her time with them. “That’s simply how it is,” she said. In some aspects, this gives her opportunities for personal moments, enabling her to live life as herself rather than just being a mother constantly. However, she added that it always brings up feelings of guilt, such as ‘I haven’t done enough.’
Yet, as Megan has candidly shared her struggles with mother’s guilt, there’s one thing she’ll never regret: empowering her children to be their authentic selves. When her eldest child, Noah, started wearing dresses at the tender age of two, this mother of four harbored concerns about how society might view her family.
She went on to say, “I don’t have the power to dictate how others respond to my kids. I also can’t regulate the behaviors or beliefs of other kids they interact with at school, which might influence them.
Ultimately, Megan realized that all she had power over was her steadfast devotion to her child.
She pointed out that one reason she doesn’t share her children on Instagram or social media is because she’s incredibly proud of them.
