Meghan Markle’s love for her family will never go out of style.

Since January, when the Duchess of Sussex resumed using Instagram, she has utilized the platform to pay tribute to her cherished family members. In line with this, her latest post showcases her admiration for her children – Archie Harrison, who is now 5 years old, and Lilibet “Lili” Diana, who is 3 years old – in a discreet yet stylish manner.

In the video she posted on February 4th, Meghan Markle revealed the secret efforts she’s made to assist those impacted by the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles. In her conversation, she mentioned a 15-year-old girl who unfortunately lost her possessions, including a shirt from Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard & Soft” tour, when her house was destroyed by fire. With some assistance from Adam Levine, Meghan and Billie managed to delight the young girl with new merchandise as a surprise.

In this particular instance, it became clear just how emotionally significant clothing can be. Yet, Meghan’s attire in the video further reinforced this idea quite vividly.

In a casual outfit, the creator of the American Riviera Orchid sported blue denims and a black crewneck sweater adorned with the names of her children with Prince Harry, written elegantly in script, across its neckline.

Meghan expresses a great appreciation towards Billie Eilish for the unexpected merchandise. She added that this gesture will be particularly meaningful to her, as she spoke directly to the camera. Furthermore, Meghan thanks everyone who has been supporting people in various ways during the California crisis, big or small.

On numerous occasions, Meghan and Harry have expressed their affection for their children, not for the first time. In October 2024, just two months prior to showcasing them in their yearly holiday card, Prince Harry disclosed that Archie and Lili shared one characteristic with his wife.

In response to a question in 2015 by Sky News about the birth of his niece Princess Charlotte prompting him to consider settling down, he responded by saying: “I believe such events can’t be rushed. They occur when they are meant to.” He also expressed that, while he would love to have children at that moment, there is a specific process one must go through before becoming a parent.

In the past, Meghan Markle also bought a Cartier French Tank watch with her future child in mind. She shared that she had always admired this watch, and when she learned that “Suits” was renewed for our third season (a significant moment at the time), she decided to treat herself and purchased the two-toned version. The watch has an engraving on the back that reads, “To M.M. From M.M.”, which she intends to give to her daughter someday. She shared this story with Hello! in 2015.

The topic of fatherhood, much like marriage, has often followed Prince Harry and the late Princess Diana’s younger son extensively. In an interview with People magazine in May 2016, just before he met his current spouse, he expressed, “At times during my life, I’ve thought, ‘I’d love to have kids now.’ But then there are moments when I think, ‘Maybe not right now,’ and hide from the idea. There’s no hurry. At times, the thought of having children has even made me hesitate.

In 2017, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their engagement and participated in their initial joint interview. As expected, the subject of having children was broached. “Absolutely,” said Prince Harry then, “I believe one thing at a time, and hopefully we’ll start our family soon.” Meghan smiled beside him as they spoke.

Meghan expressed that it felt magical to become a mother after Archie was born. She found it incredibly wonderful, and with her two fantastic guys by her side, she was extremely content.

On June 4th, their little girl was born to the couple.
