Melania Trump Details Son Barron Trump’s Freshman Year of College

Melania Trump is giving an update on Barron Trump’s college experience.

During Donald Trump’s son’s first year at New York University, Melania provided an update on how their 18-year-old is faring before her husband’s presidential inauguration.

During a Jan. 13 interview on Fox & Friends, she confirmed that Barron would indeed visit, adding her efforts are focused on making him feel as typical as possible. She aims to raise him as if he were an adult of 18 or 19 years old, teaching and guiding him but ultimately allowing him the freedom to make his own choices. Respecting Barron’s opinions and preferences is important to her.

On more than one occasion, Melania, aged 54, has made it clear that she values her son’s independence. In fact, she has allowed him to make his own decisions regarding his choice of university.

The former model stated on Fox & Friends in September that it was his choice to reside and study in New York, which he desired, and I admire his independence in making that decision.

Indeed, Melania revealed this nickname that was inspired by his strong conviction.

In her interview with Parenting.com back in 2012, she stated that he’s self-reliant, has strong opinions, and is clear about what he desires. She affectionately refers to him as ‘Little Donald’ because of his distinctive personality traits.

In the meantime, President-elect Donald Trump, who has children Donald Trump Jr., aged 47, Ivanka Trump, aged 43, Eric Trump, aged 41, all with his late ex-wife Ivana Trump, and Tiffany Trump, aged 31, with his former partner Marla Maples, couldn’t have been more proud of Barron’s decision to attend NYU.

The 78-year-old mentioned to the Daily Mail in September that his grandson had been accepted into numerous colleges. He’s an exceptionally intelligent individual, and he will be attending New York University’s Stern School of Business, which is a highly respected institution for business studies.

He mentioned that his son had taken a strong interest in the university following a tour of the campus, and furthermore, he commented, “I’ve been familiar with NYU for quite some time, but it consistently ranks among the top universities.
