Meryl Streep's Daughter Files for Divorce After 6 Years

Mamie Gummer is beginning a new chapter in her life.

The oldest child of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer is seeking a divorce from her spouse Mehar Sethi, following six years of wedlock, as stated in legal papers acquired by TopMob News, due to unresolvable conflicts.

In the filing made on February 6th, Mamie disclosed that she and her husband, who are parents to a 5-year-old son named Peter Sethi and a 3-year-old daughter named Mary Sethi, have been apart since May 2023.

Beyond seeking shared legal and physical custody of their kids, this former star of True Detective has also requested financial support from their spouse during separation, as well as coverage for their attorney’s fees and expenses.

Despite maintaining privacy about their personal lives, it’s been revealed that Mamie, who was previously married to Benjamin Walker between 2011 and 2013, and Mehar joined forces as a family of four. They were spotted together at the Los Angeles premiere party for “The Sign” by Blue, which took place at Walt Disney Studios last April.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Mamie and Mehar for comment and has not heard back.

Mamie’s divorce papers were filed over a year ago, following the announcement made by Meryl’s representative that the “Mamma Mia!” actress and Don (parents of Henry, 45, Grace, 38, and Louisa, 33) had been apart for more than six years.

In an interview with TopMob News in October 2023, her representative stated that although their bond remains strong, they’ve opted to live separately.
