Although neither Konami nor Sony have addressed recent rumors, a new trailer was unveiled today demonstrating Naked Snake in combat against the Soviets in a nostalgic manner similar to 2004’s MGS3, which is renowned as one of the best video games ever made. The official trailer that was released today, following the initial leak, confirms that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available on August 28th.
Achieving one of the top Metal Gear Solid games is no small accomplishment, given that Hideo Kojima isn’t involved in this project. However, it appears Konami is ready for the challenge. If the remake sticks close to the original game, both veterans and newcomers can expect a stealthy and powerful introduction to Metal Gear Solid Delta. This remake could rekindle interest in the series, as Konami hasn’t released a new installment since 2018 with Metal Gear Survive, which was a commercial flop.

Given that the 2004 title was initially released on PlayStation 2 and Nintendo 3DS, it promises to be exhilarating to experience this critically acclaimed story on contemporary consoles.
