As an old-school gamer who’s been through the trenches of tactical espionage action with the legendary Solid Snake, I can hardly contain my excitement! The whispers of a new Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater have been circulating for months, and finally, it seems we’re on the brink of an official announcement.
Following numerous whispers and conjecture over several months, it has been officially verified that Konami’s game, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, will reveal its release date sometime this year. This information was confirmed through the PlayStation Blog, which shared their experience with a recent demo in their review.
The specific timeline for the announcement is yet uncertain, but there’s a possibility that it might be during the Tokyo Game Show from September 26th to 29th. Alternatively, it could be at The Game Awards on December 12th. Regardless, it seems less probable now that the remake will release this year as initially suggested by PlayStation.
In May, there were whispers circulating that a 2025 launch might be on the horizon for the game, originating from Dealab’s billbil-kun. Although Konami didn’t confirm this, they have been sharing more in-depth details about the project lately, such as various gameplay modes and an updated Battle Damage system.
Keep an eye out for further news on the subject while we work on it. As for now, “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” is being created for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers.
