As a dedicated Metal Gear Solid fan with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest revelation about the Legacy Series is simply mind-blowing! The fact that we now know Jodi Benson as the voice behind EVA, and Suzetta Minet was just her alias, has added a whole new layer to the Metal Gear universe.
The latest episode of the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series, hosted by Naked Snake actor David Hayter, is now here and offers some incredible new details. For the first time, it reveals the official voice of EVA – Jodi Benson, who used the name Suzetta Minet for years. She joins Lori Alan, the voice of The Boss, and we get a look at some new scenes from the remake. Check it out below.
The scenes involve EVA and Snake on a bike, sharing a moment (though the latter remains as stoic as ever) before driving off. Then there’s The Boss, confronting and disarming Snake before causing some destruction. These look amazing in Unreal Engine 5, from the lighting and facial animations to the textures and cinematography.
Although Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater hasn’t been given a specific release date yet, you can play it from beginning to end. Production producer Noriaki Okamura has assured us that the wait won’t be an extended one, as it won’t take “years and years”. The remake is slated for launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms.
