As a long-time fan of the Metal Slug series, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Metal Slug Tactics! I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game since its initial announcement, and while the delays have been frustrating, I can’t help but appreciate the extra polish that comes with a bit more time in development.
It turns out that we’ve had to wait longer than expected for “Metal Slug Tactics”. Initially intended for a 2022 release, it has faced several setbacks and was later confirmed to be launching in the fall season this year. Now, we have a definitive release date for the game.
Developer Dotemu and Lekir Studio have shared that the highly-anticipated game “Metal Slug Tactics” is set to launch on November 5th, which is only a few weeks away. The latest trailer offers sneak peeks into the game’s roguelike tactical gameplay, as well as showcasing some familiar faces from the beloved “Metal Slug” series who will be featured in the game.
