Metaphor: ReFantazio – Election Candidates Detailed in New Atlus Showcase

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must admit that the latest Atlus Showcase for “Metaphor: ReFantazio” has caught my attention like a moth to a flame. The intricate narrative and engaging gameplay mechanics presented in this upcoming title have me eagerly awaiting its release on October 11th.

As a longtime fan of Atlus and their intricately crafted RPGs, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the latest Atlus Showcase for Metaphor: ReFantasio! Having spent countless hours immersed in their previous games, I’ve grown accustomed to the masterful storytelling and complex characters that Atlus consistently delivers.

1. After the king of Euchronia passes away, contenders set off to vie for the throne in an election. However, their objectives surpass this single goal. Before they can ascend the throne, they need to visit Port Brielhaven and engage in the “Exhibition of the Brave,” a fierce combat event where the winner must present the largest monster’s head as proof of victory. During the competition, Batlin will offer commentary on its progress.

1. Among the election contenders are Forden, the spiritual leader and monarch of the Theocracy of Sanctism, along with Louis, a high-ranking military official boasting significant influence. Additionally, there’s Gideaux, Forden’s personal guard who holds animosity towards the protagonist; Godell, Louis’ underling who isn’t fond of your schemes; Milo, a vanity-driven member of Ishkia; Rudolf, a merciless representative from the Roussainte tribe; and several others as well.

1. In various cities, you’ll encounter posters displaying their pledges, and you can even chat with NPCs to hear their opinions about each one. Every city has Gauntlet Runners similar to the main character, but their support for you could change based on your choices. Your position in the election is shown throughout, yet it’s more of a decorative aspect that only changes as you advance the campaign and complete missions.

Metaphor: ReFantazio launches on October 11th for PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC
