Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update Adds Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

As a seasoned traveler and aviation enthusiast with a soft spot for Europe’s rich history and landscapes, I can hardly contain my excitement about the latest update to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The addition of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to the game’s map is like adding pages to a passport for me!

The much-adored Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will take off this November, yet its remarkable 2020 reboot remains vibrant and consistently expanding, with fresh content being introduced regularly. Intriguingly, its latest world update – the sixteenth – has just been unveiled, enriching the game’s expansive universe by introducing additional meticulously recreated locations.

As a long-time aviation enthusiast, I am absolutely thrilled about the latest update to Microsoft Flight Simulator! Being able to explore the skies over Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to fly over the iconic sights of Berlin and Potsdam in Germany, Salzburg and Vienna in Austria, and Zurich and Bern in Switzerland, and now I can do it all from the comfort of my own home!

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Microsoft has dropped a fresh addition to the game’s lineup – the Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor! This beauty comes as paid DLC and you can grab it for $14.99. With three unique liveries to choose from, it’s ready to soar into the game. Here’s a sneak peek at its flight action in the trailer below. Enjoy!

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
