The list of trophies for the classic sports game Backyard Baseball ’97, originally released on Microsoft Windows CD-ROM, has been uploaded to Sony’s servers.
1997 saw the debut of “Arcade Baseball,” the pioneering sports game from Humongous Entertainment, marking the start of a series that became iconic for its colorful style and user-friendly game mechanics. This classic game captivated an entire generation.
Last year, Playground Productions revealed they regained ownership of the Backyard Sports series following a surge in brand popularity due to former NFL center Jason Kelce discussing it on a podcast.
After transferring the original version to Steam, the team had been planning to introduce it to the PlayStation 5 all along. It now appears that a release date is approaching since Trophies for the game have surfaced on Sony’s servers.
As Pablo Sanchez and his friends journey towards the Platinum milestone, they aim to achieve three significant feats: hitting 250 home runs, striking out 10 batters, and triumphing in the Super National Tournament. These tasks are expected to be within their reach.
