Midsomer Murders Returns: Season 25 Production Kicks Off with Exciting New Mysteries!

Prepare yourself to return to the serene countryside as we delve into another round of intriguing murder mysteries, with the esteemed 25th season of the ITV drama Midsomer Murders now underway in production.

Initially, Variety announced that Neil Dudgeon, Nick Hendrix, Annette Badland, and Fiona Dolman are all set to rejoin the main cast, according to their report.

After the full season has aired, having 144 episodes means that it will have surpassed the number of installments produced by Poirot, Vera, or Columbo.

John Barnaby actor Neil Dudgeon expressed delightfully, “I’m thrilled to be shooting Midsomer once more! Each script is packed with captivating intrigue and tantalizing mysteries, so I can hardly wait for you to witness them!

He went on saying: “Our authors, appearing quite ordinary, keep devising bizarre methods for the inhabitants of Midsomer to eliminate their fellow villagers, which is amusing but also a bit unsettling; I collaborate with these individuals!

Additionally, it’s wonderful to have the entire team reunited once more, reminiscent of a close-knit community in Midsomer. I can hardly wait for you all to appreciate them when the project is complete.

He mentioned that he wasn’t sure about the exact air date, but production for season 25 resumes at the end of March. So, the show will continue.

This year took a break from filming; instead, we filmed last year. However, we’ll be back in action this year and have been shooting four new stories since March of this year.
