On May 30th, Digital Eclipse is set to launch physical copies of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind” for both PlayStation 5 and Switch. The developer has made this announcement. Pre-orders can be placed now on Atari.com, Amazon, and retailers worldwide who are participating in the sale.
The game can be purchased in two versions: standard for $34.99 / £34.99 / €39.99, and Deluxe for $49.99 / £49.99 / €54.99. The Deluxe edition comes with additional features like a special retail box and cover, a SteelBook case, a poster, a 3D lenticular postcard, and a set of unique Power Ranger collectible cards made of individual pixel art.

Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind – A Nostalgic Gaming Homage to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”
In essence, this title is a heartfelt tribute to 90s arcade gaming and the legendary Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise. The game features meticulously designed pixel art, a guitar-infused soundtrack, side-scrolling beat ’em up action laced with humorous references and nods to the TV and movie series. It’s been thoughtfully crafted to recreate the original arcade experience of genre classics.
Players journey through an adrenaline-pumped adventure filled with classic side-scrolling combat, thrilling 3D sequences, and multiplayer Megazord battles to confront Rita Repulsa’s army of Putty Patrollers, General Goldar, and various villains from the Power Rangers TV and film series. This game supports up to six players on all platforms for local couch cooperative play and online multiplayer, except for Sony PlayStation, which accommodates four players.
Digital Eclipse is planning to roll out further gameplay enhancements and online improvements in the coming days, with more details to be shared soon.
