Millie Bobby Brown is leaving more behind than just the Upside Down.
In the TV series “Stranger Things”, where the actress has played a significant role since she was 12 years old, Millie has openly expressed her difficulty in bidding farewell as the show concludes.
At the unveiling of her latest movie “The Electric State” to Will Marfuggi of TopMob News, she shared that it was quite painful on the final day to bid farewell to her most cherished crew members, actors, and directors – those she has had the pleasure of collaborating with.
In her words, “That production was simply marvelous, and I was fortunate enough to contribute to it.” (Don’t forget to catch up with Millie tonight on TopMob News, airing February 25 at 11 p.m.)
Fortunately, Millie found herself among an exceptional team of crew, actors, and directors for the latest production titled “The Electric State“. Notably, Millie had nothing but kind words to share about her on-screen partner, Chris Pratt, in this new film.
Beforehand, I held immense admiration for him within his field, as it turned out. There’s something magnetic about him; everyone seems to adore Chris Pratt. Remarkably, I’ve never come across any negative comments about him.
According to Millie, Chris not only met but exceeded her “high expectations.” As the star of Enola Holmes shared, Chris consistently brought joy and laughter to set, remembering everyone’s names. This left a profound impact on Millie, inspiring her personally and professionally as an individual and actor.
For enthusiasts of “Stranger Things”, they have the chance to catch up with Millie Bobby Brown in “The Electric State“, which streams on Netflix starting March 14. Meanwhile, they eagerly anticipate the highly-anticipated finale of the cherished series.
A significant number of the actors, such as Millie, are finding themselves with a mix of joyful and sorrowful emotions, since the series has concluded at last.
According to a post made by actor Finn Wolfhard on Instagram in December, he expressed that they recently completed filming for “Stranger Things” Season 5. He’s still in a state of disbelief as they worked on it for an entire year, and he will deeply miss his co-stars and the characters they portrayed.
In addition to his post, the 22-year-old shared a photo featuring him alongside his costars Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, and Natalia Dyer during the early stages of filming. The post also included behind-the-scenes shots capturing all the stars throughout their journey on the show, showcasing how much they’ve grown up alongside the series.
Finn added, “When I imagine the show, it’s that first image that comes to mind. It’s a group of silly, inexperienced individuals creating something they believe is trendy, unaware of what lies ahead. Somehow, we’re still those people, and I feel fortunate to stand with them today.
With a playful hint at the end, he wrapped up by saying, “I’m confident you’ll enjoy this season just as much as I do. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

Despite Max’s uncertain future, Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that Doctor Brenner (played by Matthew Modine) has met his end permanently. In their words, “He’s done for good.
In the same manner as Eddie (Joseph Quinn), who valiantly gave himself to the Demobats to allow the other children time to keep fighting, expressed his wish to TopMob News for a possible return in the series, stating, “I would be absolutely open to it. But we’ll see.
Regarding Max (Sadie Sink), her brothers remain hopeful that she can recover. They acknowledged that she is currently in a state of brain death, but still alive. Additionally, she has lost her sight and sustained numerous broken bones.
In an interview with Deadline, Sadie expressed uncertainty about Max’s future, as her character remains in a coma and Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, has yet to locate her in the void. It’s unclear where Max might be or what condition she’s currently in.
Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy on the show, is finding it difficult to decide who her character should be with. On one hand, she feels that Nancy and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) make a good pair, but she also recognizes that Steve (Joe Keery) has matured significantly. However, there’s a part of her that believes Nancy shouldn’t be with either of them. “It’s really challenging,” she shared with Variety. “I don’t know. It seems like she’s been in a relationship for a while now, so maybe she needs some time for self-discovery.
She added, “Regardless of what transpires, I would wish for her to act with honesty. To be frank, I had some uncomfortable sensations regarding how the situation with Jonathan unfolded seemingly without Steve’s knowledge. Frankly, it surprises me that she did it. But then again, I understand why.
In the final episode of the season, it was made clear that Will (Noah Schnapp) and Vecna remain connected due to their link established in season two. When asked if fans can expect interactions between these characters in season five, Jamie Campbell Bower told TopMob News, “Given the history between Vecna and Will, it would be delightful to revisit that relationship again, if you will.
Initially intending to begin a fresh life in California, Joyce (Winona Ryder), Will (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) find themselves yearning for Hawkins and their old friends. Consequently, it appears the Byers family will be abandoning their California residence and returning to Indiana in season five, accompanied by Hopper and Eleven.
Matt Duffer shared with Collider his ideas for season 5, stating, “Primarily it’s set in Hawkins, but there’s a significant presence of the Upside Down as well.” He added that the storyline revolves around everyone reuniting, returning to Hawkins.
The creators known as The Duffer Brothers have primarily mapped out season five, which is set to be the last one, yet it remains uncertain when shooting will commence.
Sadie Sink shared with Deadline that the previous season spanned over two years, leaving uncertainty about how long it might take for season five. The Duffers understand the excitement of fans for another season but are unlikely to hurry the process. Instead, they want to create an outstanding final season.
In the final season, it appears that the number of scenes might be reduced compared to previous seasons, as the Duffer Brothers have mentioned that the episodes will be somewhat shorter. However, they’re planning for the finale to once again span a full-length feature.
In my perspective as a devoted follower, I won’t anticipate the fifth season to be as engrossing as previous ones because, unlike earlier seasons, it seems we’ll have to wait for approximately two hours before our characters are fully immersed in a supernatural enigma. Initially, we will get to know them better, understand their lives, and witness their struggles – from adjusting to high school to Steve’s quest for a date, among other things. Unfortunately, these everyday moments won’t feature prominently in season 5.
On January 8th, Netflix announced that filming for the fifth and last season of Stranger Things is in progress, as they posted an affectionate picture featuring the main characters from Hawkins.
On social media, the streaming service declared, “This signals Code Red!”, meaning that the filming of Stranger Things 5 has commenced!!!
During a private conversation with TopMob News, the executive producer of Stranger Things, Shawn Levy, assures us that season five will provide answers to all lingering questions, emphasizing their commitment to keeping viewers content.
On November 6th, affectionately referred to as Stranger Things Day, I was thrilled to learn that the opening chapter of the finale has been named “The Crawl – Chapter One,” by Netflix.
It seems that the character of Will Byers will play a crucial role in how the Netflix series Stranger Things concludes its run. In an interview with Forbes, actor Noah Schnapp hinted at what fans can anticipate from the final season, stating, “I believe they handled Will’s character exceptionally well this season and resolved all necessary aspects beautifully. The way they ended the show is perfect—the story began with Will, and it will conclude with him.
Maya Hawke recently revealed the upcoming series is “basically eight movies.”
As she explained on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed in June 2024, “The episodes are very long.”
