Million Dollar Beach House’s Sara Burack Dead at 40 in Hit and Run

The real estate community is in mourning after a devastating tragedy.

Sara Burack, a real estate agent famously featured in the Netflix show ‘Million Dollar Beach House,’ tragically passed away due to a hit-and-run incident in New York’s Southampton Town, as reported by authorities on June 19th. She was just 40 years old.

In the early hours of Thursday, officials received an emergency call regarding a woman who appeared to be unconscious and severely injured after being hit by a car that subsequently left the scene. This incident occurred on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, a small town on Long Island, as per authorities’ statement obtained by NBC News. The woman later identified as Burack, was the one found in this state.

As reported by NBC News, Burack was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where sadly she later passed away. The Southampton Town Police have initiated a search for the person believed to be the driver in this incident.

TopMob News has reached out to authorities for comment and has not heard back.

Initially, Burack gained attention through the Netflix reality show “Million Dollar Beach House,” where it followed a team of realtors from Nest Seekers International (an agency based in Westhampton) as they secured high-end properties in the New York region. However, her participation on this series, which aired for one season towards the end of 2020, was just a small part of her over-a-decade-long career with the firm prior to that.

Back in August 2020, Burack shared with Hamptons.com that his family runs a construction material sales business, which I’ve spent a significant part of my life working on. My fascination with real estate ventures led me to take up brokerage as a career, following my summer stint managing rental properties for a vacation house I used to lease.

Additionally, although she temporarily ventured into real estate sales within Manhattan, her heart remained set on establishing a reputation in the Hamptons.

For the last eleven years, she’s spent half of each year in the Hamptons. It’s only fitting that her affection for real estate has flourished into a successful career.
