Sam Hubbard’s news is priceless.
After battling fertility issues for many years, resulting in multiple miscarriages, the runner-up of the “Million Dollar Secret” revealed that she and her husband, Donte Hubbard, are expecting a new addition to their family.
She shared with Francesca Amiker from TopMob News in an exclusive interview that it wasn’t until January that we were able to conceive and maintain the pregnancy. It’s amusing because I recently revisited a video my spouse and I made before our anniversary dinner, hoping to catch a glimpse of the test results before getting the blood work done. I was incredibly anxious, but also deeply grateful. At last, I felt like I could say, ‘Thank God, our prayers have been answered.’
Currently, Sam, who is the mother of a 3-year-old named Oliver (shared with Donte), is now in her 22nd week of pregnancy. Despite this new development, the past challenges they have faced together continue to be a significant burden for both of them.
She openly acknowledged her ongoing fear and anxiety, stating, “My husband and I are still extremely anxious and on edge.” To put it bluntly, she shared that they aren’t able to enjoy the joyous, carefree experience. Instead, they’re living week by week, constantly hoping for good news during their ultrasound appointments and praying that everything will be alright.
According to the reality star, “Experiencing such intense trauma and pain can be challenging. You tend to approach hopeful situations with a measure of caution.
But some of those fears are assuaged every time Sam and Donte get to look at their little one.
She was filled with joy as she exclaimed about the baby, describing it as flawless, vibrant, stunning, and full of life. Each time they catch a glimpse of the baby on the ultrasound, they are ecstatic beyond words. Their gratitude knows no bounds after enduring so much.
Throughout all these experiences, she had an exceptional support system at her disposal – not only medical professionals like her psychotherapist, Dr. Sowania Germain, but also her partner, Donte.
She commented, “My spouse is incredibly kind, perhaps among the most so I’ve encountered.” She continued, “I’ve come to appreciate that he’s not only kind but also exceptionally intelligent. Whenever he spoke a few words, he would say something like, ‘Sam, I had a dream – God will bless us. Don’t worry about it.’ Such faith in the unknown is not my style, as I prefer to meticulously plan things out. Yet he encourages me to have faith and trust that things will work out.
The television personality, who captured viewers’ affection during their stint on “Million Dollar Secret,” also delved into the significance of having Donte accompany them throughout this adventure, as they consulted numerous medical professionals along the way.
Sam mentioned, “I accomplished so much, and he was always there by my side, encouraging me, even when what I was saying sounded absurd.” For instance, if I were to say something like, ‘Honey, the doctor told me to hop seven times and smooch a frog on its hind leg,’ he’d respond, ‘Alright, you better catch that frog.’
As she put it, “If I’ve done anything right, it’s him.”
