MindsEye launches this summer for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

This summer, the engaging single-player, narrative-focused action-adventure game titled “MindsEye” will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms through both Steam and Epic Games Store. The announcement was made jointly by publishers IO Interactive and developers Build A Rocket Boy.

Leslie Benzies, the game director at MindsEye, shared in a press statement, “My entire career has been focused on creating engaging interactive stories that bring joy to gamers. With MindsEye, we’ve elevated cinematic adventures – crafting characters and a world that seems genuinely lively. We eagerly anticipate players diving into the game and experiencing the immersive realism and the hard work put into each game moment.

Here is an overview of the game, via IO Interactive:

Jacob Diaz is pursued by MindsEye, a man who carries an enigmatic neural device in his brain, the same name as the implant. His memories from his service days come to him fragmented and unclear. As Jacob struggles to reveal the truth behind this mysterious device, he finds himself immersed in a universe where artificial intelligence, advanced technology experiments, and unrestrained military force play significant roles throughout his adventure.

In the nearby future, nestled within the arid expanse of Redrock – a fabricated desert cityscape, MindsEye unfolds an engaging tale that intertwines artificial intelligence, human covetousness, and the struggle for dominance. As players, you’ll delve into an intricately designed universe, unearthing concealed plots as you traverse a profoundly emotional and high-stakes narrative journey.

As a gamer, I can tell you that MindsEye offers pulse-pounding combat where every choice is a matter of life or death. In this third-person shooter, I’ll find myself squaring off against enemies who work together to launch attacks, push me out of cover, and overrun me with sheer numbers. To come out on top, I need to think fast, make smart moves, and use the environment along with a helpful drone companion to tip the scales in my favor.

Regardless of whether you’re walking, driving, or flying, MindsEye maintains tension for players as they navigate through a perpetually dangerous environment.
