MindsEye Studio’s CFO and CLO Depart Before June 10th Release

In a recent development, game studio Build A Rocket Boy, set to debut its upcoming multiplatform game MindsEye, has experienced the resignation of two high-ranking executives: Chief Financial Officer Riley Graebner and Paul Bland who holds the same position. This departure was noticed by Eurogamer as Riley Graebner announced his exit through a LinkedIn post, while Paul Bland updated his profile to reflect the change.

Graebner worked at the company for approximately 3.5 years, expressing his pride in the achievements made and the expansion to more than 450 employees. He is eagerly anticipating future endeavors, though he and his team must remain undercover for a while longer. Keep an eye out for updates. On the other hand, Bland was with the company for over two years.

On June 10th, MindsEye will debut on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Over the last couple of weeks, it has faced criticism and apprehension because of its underwhelming marketing campaign. However, Build A Rocket Boy recently unveiled a comprehensive trailer explaining the game’s features and outlined their post-launch plans.

Co-CEO Mark Gerhard expressed his firm conviction that the adverse responses to the title were orchestrated by someone with financial backing. On the other hand, CEO Leslie Benzies didn’t delve into this matter during his recent interview, but he did outline a ten-year plan for the universe. This plan includes the launch of an open-world multiplayer sequel next year and another game within that timespan.
