There’s no smoke and mirrors in Dan Reynolds and Minka Kelly’s relationship.
Indeed, their recent dinner date at All Time, a contemporary eatery situated in Los Angeles, underscores that they are genuinely an item.
On February 7th, the couple, together for over two years, chose a relaxed style. Minka, aged 44, wore a white hoodie and gray track pants, while the lead vocalist of Imagine Dragons picked a matching monotone outfit and black Vans. As they exited the restaurant, they strolled hand in hand across the street.
This recent encounter occurs almost a year since Dan, aged 37, revealed details about his relationship with the actress from ‘Friday Night Lights’, mentioning they connected through a mutual friend just after his separation from his former wife, Aja Volkman. They also found common ground in opening up about their professional lives; Minka, at that point, had disclosed passages of her memoir, “Tell Me Everything”, to him.
He shared with People magazine in July that she said something like, “If you’re going to showcase your artwork, I can do the same, but it’s quite exposing for me,” he explained. She was just as worried about him reading her book as he was about her listening to a song I wrote, since we hadn’t met yet.
Dan (father of four kids: Arrow, 12; twins Gia and Coco, 7; and Valentine, 5, with his ex) played some of the band’s unheard tracks for Minka at that point. Despite her initial apprehension, Minka—who had a past relationship with Trevor Noah— gradually grew fond of Dan and allowed him to read an early version of her novel’s manuscript.
