In Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt. This new film appears to mark the conclusion of Ethan’s mission, as suggested by the gripping, high-octane trailer that has been released.
The highly anticipated movie continues the storyline following the happenings of “Dead Reckoning” in 2023. In that tale, an artificially intelligent being exploited one of Ethan’s long-time adversaries as a puppet to unveil a destructive plan aimed at destroying the entire world.
The movie concluded with an unresolved mystery, hinting that the upcoming sequel is intended to serve as the concluding chapter of this ongoing series. Interestingly enough, the title itself states ‘final’.
Absolutely, given that franchises dominate the movie industry these days, it’s hard to predict if this is Ethan Hunt’s final mission, but it appears to be his most demanding task so far.
