As a long-time anime fan with over two decades of experience under my belt, I have seen countless openings and closings for various shows. But let me tell you, nothing quite compares to the exhilarating feeling I get when a new opening theme for a series I’m following drops. And the latest opening for Mission: Yozakura Family, titled “Secret Operation,” is no exception.
The anime adaptation of Mission: Yozakura Family, which premiered on screens this Spring after being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, has started the second part of its debut season for the Summer. In the latest episode, a fresh opening sequence was introduced. The first half of the anime saw the Yozakura Family engaged in an intense battle for survival, and now that they’re in the thick of a new conflict, the anime is unveiling even bigger fights and more intriguing developments in its second cour.
The anime “Mission: Yozakura Family” started the second part of its first season for the Summer 2024 anime lineup with Episode 15. In commemoration, a fresh opening theme called “Secret Operation” was introduced, performed by fripSide featuring Yoshino Nanjo. How to Catch Up With Mission: Yozakura Family
Mirai Minato has been in charge of directing and supervising the scriptwriting for “Mission: Yozakura Family” by Silver Link, which consists of 27 episodes (with 15 having been aired during the first half of the season). Mizuki Takahashi is responsible for character design as well as serving as the chief animation director. The music is being composed by Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki. The Japanese voice cast includes Reiji Kawashima as Taiyo Asano, Kaede Hondo as Mutsumi Yozakura, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kyoichiro Yozakura, Akari Kito as Futaba Yozakura, Kazayuki Okitsu as Shinzo Yozakura and Shion Yozakura, Yumi Uchiyama as Nanao Yozakura, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kengo Yozakura and Goliath.
