Mistfall Hunter Will Kick Off its Second Beta on April 22

As an eager supporter, I’m thrilled to share that Bellring Games, the creative force behind the intriguing extraction action RPG, Mistfall Hunter, has announced the commencement of its second beta test on April 22nd! In this exciting announcement, the studio has also unveiled the fresh content that players like us will get to explore during the beta testing phase.

Leading the fresh lineup of content for beta 2 of Mistfall Hunter is the innovative Reverent Seer build. This class harnesses Catalysts to fuel its attacks and spells, and will essentially be the initial playable class in the game to provide support capabilities for teammates. The Reverent Seer’s unique feature is the Rune Pillars, which can be utilized to conjure runes for healing, protecting, and enhancing the power of allies.

In the updated version, the game’s title will introduce fresh landscapes and locations for players to delve into. This exciting new area, known as Ember Iris, boasts Lake Iris as a prominent attraction. As you navigate through this vast map, you’ll encounter enigmatic ancient arrays and sealed gates. The region is also host to the Forge, currently inhabited by Corroded craftsmen and workers. With these new additions, the map of Brandrgarde will span such a considerable area that it’ll need to be divided into two separate maps. Randomly, players will start their journey in one half or the other, with the fortress now being split accordingly.

In the beta phase, Bellring Games intends to trial the newly developed single-player mode as well. Unlike the trio mode, which uses the same map, the single-player version has been restructured to offer a more balanced distribution of monsters for individual players instead of entire teams. The studio is also eager to gather player feedback regarding the difficulty level, particularly concerning class balance within the single-player mode.

In addition to the beta, expect an array of fresh monsters to join the fray, including the Prison Guard, Warden, Penitent, and Nightwatcher. Otto, the Flesheater, has received some updates, with players now able to engage in a second phase of combat against him. The boss also offers a challenge mode that can be accessed by those who’ve found the Dried Flower Knot. Nicknamed Einherjar mode, this difficulty setting is known for its high level of challenge, yet rewards are substantial if you manage to conquer it.

As an ardent enthusiast of Mistfall Hunter, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming Beta 2 version is brimming with balance adjustments. Notably, melee classes are receiving a significant enhancement in their damage bonus and damage reduction attributes. This tweak is aimed at leveling the playing field, as melee characters often find themselves at a disadvantage due to their close proximity to enemy attacks. Further insights regarding these class balances, and how they’ll impact Player versus Player (PvP) engagements, are set to be unveiled in the coming days. Keep your gaming gear ready!

In the second beta version, modifications have been made such as introducing legendary accessories to enhance game progression, and eliminating set affixes for a more dynamic experience. Moreover, the game’s fundamental technology is being upgraded, promising players a more fluid gameplay. As a result of these changes, the minimum graphics card requirement has been decreased to either an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660.

As an eager enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’m keeping tabs on the progress of “Mistfall Hunter,” a captivating title set to grace both PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Expected to launch towards the end of this very year, it promises an enthralling journey that I can hardly wait to embark on!
