Each year like clockwork, a fresh installment of MLB is unveiled, and this time it’s MLB The Show 25 that’s got me all excited! Just as predicted, Sony and SIE San Diego Studio have officially announced the next chapter in the series.
This season’s version of the game hasn’t disclosed its updates yet, but Sony has announced that Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson will be featured as the cover stars. The three athletes will jointly appear on the covers to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the MLB The Show series. You can watch the reveal trailer for the cover athletes below.
MLB The Show 25 is set to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 18. Unlike past releases, this won’t be a cross-generational launch, nor will it be immediately accessible through Game Pass. A unique aspect for those who opt for the Digital Edition is that they can start playing the game four days early, starting from March 14.
