MLB The Show 25 Update #8 Released With Patch Notes

San Diego Studio has just rolled out Update #8 for MLB The Show 25, and this update comes loaded with significant improvements. This week is shaping up to be one of the most exciting for MLB The Show 25 as it honors Jackie Robinson Day and Easter with its annual Egg Hunt event. To complement these grand celebrations, a new patch for MLB 25 has been released across all platforms.

The eighth update for MLB The Show 25 is now available on PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. This update isn’t massive but does include some notable additions such as the newly unveiled City Connect jerseys for the Colorado Rockies. Additionally, issues in the Road to the Show, March to October, and Franchise game modes have been fixed. However, no changes have been made to the gameplay with this update, but future adjustments could be on the horizon.

  • 2025 Colorado Rockies City Connect uniforms have been added. 

Road to the Show 

  • Fixed an issue where the score bug could be empty when a catcher is at-bat. 

Franchise and March to October

  • Fixed an issue with amateur draft prospect rankings where organization rankings could diverge from MLB rankings even if no scouting had occurred. 

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a bug where captions could disappear before Bob Kendrick is finished talking in Storylines.
