Moana 2 Trailer Released at D23

As a Disney enthusiast with decades of animated magic under my belt, I must say that the reveal of the official trailer for Moana 2 at D23 has me absolutely “Moan-a-licious”! The original Moana was a game-changer, and it’s thrilling to see our beloved characters back in action.

Tonight at D23, Walt Disney Animation Studios unveiled an official trailer for the upcoming movie “Moana 2”. Originally conceived as a Disney+ series, this new film brings back Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho who starred in the original. During the D23 event tonight, they performed a song from the movie called “We’re Back”, followed by Disney releasing the trailer. The initial Moana has been one of Disney+’s most-watched films recently, and the studio is so confident in this animated sequel that they decided to postpone their plans for a live-action remake of the original film.

In the film, Moana takes on her fresh leadership position, following the plotline established in the finale of “Moana.” Here’s a sneak peek at the trailer.

Apart from the song and preview, Disney Animation has released a fresh theatrical poster for the upcoming movie. This poster showcases Moana, Maui, Heihei (the loyal chicken), and their newest teammate, Pua the pig. Take a peek at the image below for more details.

In the sequel of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit musical Moana 2, the voices of Cravalho as Moana and Johnson as Maui return for another grand sea adventure three years later.
