Moment of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Arrest Revealed in New Video

As a seasoned investigative journalist with decades of experience, I have seen my fair share of high-profile cases that twist and turn like a serpentine river. The case of Sean Combs, or Puff Daddy as he’s known to many, is no exception. The recent string of events involving him, including the search warrants at his Miami and Los Angeles properties, the arrest of his associate Brendan Paul on drug charges, and Combs’ own arrest based on a sealed indictment, has left me with a sense of intrigue that’s hard to shake off.

New information is coming to light about Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ arrest.

A few days following the arrest of the music tycoon in New York City on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution, a recording of his arrest is now public.

Upon viewing the footage of my arrest on September 16th, as published by TMZ, I was clearly visible, dressed in a black trench coat, walking into the Park Hyatt New York’s lobby in midtown Manhattan accompanied by a sizable crowd. Moments later, federal agents moved to intercept me, and subsequently escorted me away from my companions.

Later in the video, Combs could be spotted being handcuffed, with his hands at the back, being guided along a corridor towards an elevator. The footage subsequently displayed him being taken out of the hotel lobby and onto the sidewalk.

According to a $50 million bond agreement reported by TopMob News, which his legal representatives organized, they asserted that Combs voluntarily traveled to New York, aware that his arrest was impending because he foresaw it would occur.

The letter stated that when it was clear to his legal team that Mr. Combs would shortly face formal charges, he performed an unusual action. Instead of staying in Miami, where he resided, he chose to journey to New York – the exact city housing the prosecutors and investigators scrutinizing him.

Following Bad Boys Entertainment founder’s plea of not guilty to charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution during a September 17th hearing, a New York City Judge refused his bail package. Despite his lawyers appealing this decision, another judge confirmed the need for Combs to remain in custody until his trial the following day.

According to a federal indictment acquired by TopMob News, it’s alleged that Combs has been misusing, intimidating, and manipulating women and those in his circle for decades, with the aim of satisfying his sexual needs, safeguarding his image, and hiding his actions.

Before his upcoming trial, Sean Combs (Puff Daddy, Diddy) has been kept under close observation due to potential suicide risk at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City. However, a reliable source informed TopMob News that this precaution is often taken for prominent figures when they enter federal custody and does not necessarily reflect on their mental health.

Indeed, Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, informed TMZ that, following their encounter, he does not perceive the rapper as being in a suicidal state. Instead, he portrays him as robust, fit, self-assured, and fully engaged with his defense strategy.

TopMob News has contacted Combs’ legal representative for further information, as well as the Metropolitan Detention Center, but have yet to receive a response.

Previously, Agnifilo clarified more details about Combs’ situation, stating to the court on September 17th, as reported by NBC News, “Combs is not an exemplary individual.

“There has been drug use. He has been in toxic relationships,” he continued, adding that Combs is in “treatment and therapy for things that he needs treatment and therapy for.”

On March 25th, federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) carried out search warrants at my properties in Los Angeles and Miami, as confirmed by multiple law enforcement sources to NBC News. The warrant originated from the Southern District of New York, and a representative for HSI New York informed TopMob News that they were executing legal actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from local partners in HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our regional law enforcement agencies. At the time the search warrants were executed, I was reportedly in the Miami area.

News emerged concerning an investigation following accusations of sexual misconduct against Combs, which began with lawsuits filed by several accusers in November. The musician has refuted these allegations, stating on Instagram in December: “I am appalled by the scurrilous claims being made by people seeking a fast buck. To be crystal clear, I have not committed any of the despicable acts alleged against me. I will vigorously defend my reputation, my family, and the truth.

The day following the execution of search warrants at both Sean Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami properties, his legal representative Aaron Dyer issued a statement to TopMob News. In this statement, he expressed concern over what appeared to be an excessive use of force during the searches, stating, “Yesterday saw a disturbing overuse of military-grade force.” He added that there was no justification for the aggressive display by authorities or the manner in which Combs’ children and employees were handled. Dyer emphasized that Combs himself was not detained but willingly spoke with and cooperated with law enforcement officials. The lawyer also clarified that, contrary to media reports, neither Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested or had their travel restricted in any way. Dyer described the events as an “unprecedented raid” coupled with a coordinated media presence, leading to a hasty and unfair judgment against Combs, which he termed a “witch hunt” based on baseless accusations from civil lawsuits.

In response, Dyer conveyed that Mr. Combs intends to vigorously defend himself against the accusations. He further stated, “There has been no ruling of either criminal or civil responsibility regarding these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will persistently strive each day to establish his innocence.

During the searches, it’s been reported by multiple law enforcement sources who are familiar with the warrant, that authorities from the Department of Homeland Security took phones from Sean Combs’ home in Miami prior to his planned trip to the Bahamas. Additionally, several sources knowledgeable about the situation have mentioned finding guns during the search.

A person with knowledge of the situation has disclosed that NBC News was informed by a source that four individuals – three women and one man – were questioned by prosecutors and investigators from the Southern District of New York regarding accusations involving sex trafficking, sexual assault, unlawful narcotics dealing, and firearms, which are said to be connected to Combs.

On the same day that search warrants were carried out at Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles, one of his associates, Brendan Paul, was taken into custody by the Miami-Dade police on charges of drug possession. This information was shared with NBC News by a law enforcement source who is familiar with the case.

On September 16, 2024, as reported by NBC News, he was apprehended in the lobby of a hotel located in New York City. The specific charges against him are yet undisclosed, and it remains uncertain whether his arrest is linked to any recent raids.

Mr. Combs’ legal representative, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment over the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue a prosecution that they consider unjust. They believe Mr. Combs is not a criminal despite his imperfections. To show his cooperation with the investigation, Mr. Combs willingly moved to New York last week in preparation for these charges.

The lawyer added, “Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Following his arrest on a previously sealed indictment, the charges against Combs were made public on September 17.

As per NBC News reports, Combs pleaded not guilty during his court hearing and was denied bail. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, declared before the proceedings that he would put up a strong fight on Combs’ behalf, with all his effort and determination, expressing full confidence in their legal team.
