Chris Black, a key figure in the development of the Monarch saga spanning multiple decades, has secured a two-year contract with Legendary Television. In this role, Black will serve as showrunner for the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and also pen the script for the upcoming spin-off series. Production on Monarch’s second season is already underway, with anticipation mounting among kaiju enthusiasts as they eagerly await the return of the Legacy of Monsters.
