MONGIL: STAR DIVE closed beta test set for June 19 to 26

Netmarble Publisher and Netmarble Monster Studio have unveiled a fresh trailer for their action RPG, “MONGIL: STAR DIVE,” during Summer Game Fest 2025. They’ve also revealed that a closed beta test will take place from June 19 to 26. If you’re interested in participating, registration is now open on the official website.

The preview provides an enticing sneak peek at the game’s colorful world, emphasizing the exciting voyage of heroes Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners as they set off on a grand journey across magical terrains teeming with charming and varied creatures.

The video highlights Nyanners employing special techniques to subdue monsters, demonstrating a key aspect of the game’s structure. It additionally previews exciting multiplayer combat scenes, where several characters engage in battles concurrently, presenting smooth, real-time sequences of action. Moreover, a fresh character called Sangun, influenced by traditional East Asian motifs, is introduced for the first time, suggesting that there may be more complex cultural and storyline aspects within the game.

Netmarble has started accepting applications for the beta test of its upcoming game, giving players a chance to get an early sneak peek and contribute to the game’s final version. This closed beta test is set to take place from June 19th through June 26th. Moreover, the game MONGIL: STAR DIVE has been added to the Epic Games Store, a global gaming platform. MONGIL: STAR DIVE expands upon the popularity of Monster Taming, a cherished game by Netmarble initially released in 2013. Taking inspiration from its predecessor’s appeal and mechanics, MONGIL: STAR DIVE offers an enhanced experience powered by Unreal Engine 5, providing stunning visuals and an immersive narrative. Players can anticipate a distinctive fighting system centered around “Tag Play,” where they command a three-member team in thrilling, quick-paced battles. The core of the game lies within its monster gathering system, enabling players to capture, collect, and combine diverse mythical creatures, enriching the gameplay with complexity and strategy.

As an eager fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll soon get my hands on MONGIL: Star Drive! This epic space adventure is set to launch on consoles, PC via the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although we don’t have a specific release date yet, the anticipation is building!
