Capcom recently disclosed some significant sales figures for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, indicating that the expansion has now exceeded 10 million units sold worldwide. Specifically, since June 30, 2023, an impressive four million copies of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak have been successfully sold.

Today, Capcom Company Limited (Capcom) revealed that the latest expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, titled Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which went live on June 30, 2022, has surpassed 10 million total sales worldwide.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak represents an expansive paid upgrade for the originally launched Monster Hunter Rise (launched in March 2021). The game has received widespread praise from players due to its new regions, monsters, unique hunting experiences, and continuous free content updates. Additionally, by being ported across various platforms and increasing its global player base, the game remains popular among many users today, three years after its release, in tandem with Monster Hunter Rise.

Capcom has been boosting the prestige of the Monster Hunter franchise by executing several strategies.
