Title Update 1 for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces one of the most eagerly anticipated features – the expansive Grand Hub. This colossal space operates much like the Gathering Hub from previous games. Notably, several side activities are exclusive to this zone, providing a delightful break from your intense hunts.

One of the fun side activities you can engage in at Grand Hub is called Barrel Bowling. This game shares similarities with traditional bowling but substitutes a barrel for the pins. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the Barrel Bowling mini-game found in Monster Hunter Wilds and delve into its unique features.

How to Play Barrel Bowling in Monster Hunter Wilds?

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can enjoy a game called Barrel Bowling by chatting with Rolie who’s located at the Grand Hub’s far right corner. After a brief chat, this mini-game will be available for your play. To participate, you need one Barrel Bowling Voucher. When you initially meet Rolie, this friendly felyne NPC gifts you 10 vouchers! You can obtain more of these items through Login Bonuses, the Support Ship, or trading with Suja later on.

In every round of Barrel Bowling, you’ll toss a barrel to earn the maximum points. Once you grab a barrel, feel free to adjust your stance on the launch pad. To aim, press and hold the alt fire key, then release to throw the barrel by pressing the primary fire button. There will be various clusters of targets, and each hit awards points. Upon reaching its final destination (either via collision or loss of momentum), the barrel detonates, activating nearby targets. The more points you accumulate, the higher your overall rank and the better your future rewards.
