As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of hunting under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta! Being a PlayStation Plus subscriber has its perks indeed – getting early access is like being a preferred hunter in the New World.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement! The open beta for “Monster Hunter Wilds” starts this week, but the good news is, PlayStation Plus subscribers like me get early access starting today at 8 PM PDT! That’s right, we can dive in ahead of everyone else. And the best part? The pre-load is already available, so when the beta goes live, I won’t waste a second getting my hunt on!
The beta trial for early access will continue on PS5 until October 30th. However, individuals without a PS Plus subscription or those using other platforms can start playing from October 31st, 8 PM Pacific Daylight Time, to November 3rd. Pre-loading for this trial becomes available on October 30th, also at 8 PM PDT.
Just like past versions, players will encounter a restricted selection of monsters, including the Chatchacabra and Doshagum. You’ll have the opportunity to design and personalize your Hunter, with progress saved across sessions, enabling cross-play. For those who prefer solo play, there are Support Hunters to assist you.
The game titled “Monster Hunter Wilds” is set to debut on February 28th, 2025, and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. Take a look at the latest trailer that introduces a brand-new setting, Oilwell Basin, along with three fresh monsters, including the enigmatic Black Flame monster.
