As a seasoned Monster Hunter fan with countless hours slaying beasts across various titles, I must say that my excitement for Monster Hunter Wilds was palpable when the open beta dropped. However, like many fellow hunters, I found myself navigating through a game that felt more like a buggy jungle than the polished wilderness I’ve come to expect from Capcom.
2025 is set to see the release of several significant titles, including “Monster Hunter Wilds.” Recently, Capcom provided players with an opportunity to preview the action RPG by hosting an open beta on all platforms. As expected, this event attracted a large crowd, and while feedback has been generally positive, some have noted that the game is technically unpolished at present.
Capcom has reassured gamers that the finished version of the game will be significantly improved. In a Steam update addressing bugs found during the beta testing phase, the company emphasized that the game is still under construction and is dedicated to delivering a high-quality final product.
On Twitter, Capcom addressed concerns about visual problems in the Steam edition of the game, which they attributed to Frame Generation being active. They confirmed that this problem will be resolved in the final version of the game, and stated that it’s already in a better condition than during the beta testing phase.
Monster Hunter Wilds is due out on February 28, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
