The Light Bowgun, a ranged weapon that offers agility and burst-fire capabilities, has caught my eye. It’s like Capcom read my Monster Hunting prayers!
If you’re still enjoying the gun trailer previews for Monster Hunter Wilds, here’s some exciting news – Capcom has unveiled another one! This time, they’re focusing on the Light Bowgun, a ranged weapon similar to the Heavy Bowgun but with ammunition. It may not offer as much defense, but its increased agility, including the ability to slide, more than compensates. Take a look at it below.
The Bowguns feature a distinctive mechanism that accumulates power as time passes, especially when hitting targets accurately. By triggering this function, you’ll be able to discharge a rapid succession of bullets; however, the Light Bowgun variant releases bursts of ammunition. In the Wilds environment, there are certain alterations to the weapon. Mines that have been placed will now detonate multiple times, and it’s possible to perform an impressive dodge while simultaneously shooting at a monster.
The game titled “Monster Hunter Wilds” is set to debut in the year 2025, available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. While Capcom hasn’t specified an exact release date yet, they will be unveiling a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th. Additionally, lucky attendees of the event will have the opportunity to try out a hands-on demo.
