Capcom unveiled some preliminary information about the initial significant update for Monster Hunter Wilds, planned to roll out by early April.
During the grand debut of Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom announced details about Update Title 1 on Steam. The company stated that the patch, scheduled for release in early April – approximately a month after the game’s launch – provides ample time for hunters to prepare for the fresh content and challenges that are on the horizon.
With this update,Title Update 1 introduces an increased difficulty: “Gather your equipment, and steel your resolve, hunters!” Capcom stated. “TU1 is set to introduce a monster of extraordinary power, surpassing the strength of Tempered monsters!” Furthermore, a new formidable monster will be included in Title Update 1.
It’s worth noting that Update 1 for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a social hub where players can interact, dine together, and more with fellow hunters! As stated by Capcom.
Hunters, once you’ve finished the main storyline, this location becomes accessible for you. So gear up, prepare yourself, and let the hunt begin!
Initial responses to the announcement that Title Update 1 includes an area for advanced players to congregate have been varied. Some are pleased with the new feature, while others question why it wasn’t included at launch. This new space seems reminiscent of a Gathering Hub from past Monster Hunter games, but Capcom has opted not to label it as such in this instance. As some players have noted, Monster Hunter Wilds currently lacks a robust social hub, so let’s hope that whatever this feature turns out to be will adequately address the need for community interaction.
