As a seasoned gamer with decades of Monster Hunter under my belt, let me tell you, the latest revelation about the Hunting Horn in Monster Hunter Wilds has me more excited than a Dung Beetle on a dung pile! The ability to create Echo Bubbles and the improved Focus Strike are music to my ears (pun intended). I can already hear the symphony of victory as we take down those fearsome beasts.
Today marks a fresh start, bringing along a brand new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise, this time showcasing a particular type of weapon: the Hunting Horn. Unlike other weapons, the Hunting Horn isn’t just about dealing damage; it’s all about the music! This unique instrument offers buffs to both the player and their companions, enhancing their abilities during the hunt. Take a look at the latest trailer showcasing this musical weapon below.
Based on the tunes of the Hunting Horn, various group attributes can be strengthened. Meanwhile, Wilds offer the ability to form Echo Bubbles, which produce unique benefits over a specific region. These bubbles can also be set off to harm nearby monsters, boosting overall damage output.
The Focus Strike of this weapon resembles the Silkbind Skill from Monster Hunter Rise, but instead of just one hit, it now delivers multiple strikes when strummed. Additionally, there’s a new skill where you can subtly step back and deliver a powerful, stun-inducing blow.
In 2025, the game titled “Monster Hunter Wilds” is set to release for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers (PC). A fresh trailer of this game will be unveiled on August 20th during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Additionally, attendees at the event have the opportunity to try out the game firsthand throughout the trade fair.
