Monster Hunter Wilds Trailers Showcase the Long Sword and the Charge Blade

As an ardent fan with over two decades of Monster Hunter under my belt, I must say that the latest weapon trailers for Monster Hunter Wilds have sent shivers of anticipation down my spine! The Long Sword and Charge Blade trailers have only solidified my excitement for this upcoming masterpiece.

As a dedicated Monster Hunter Wilds gamer, I’ve been thrilled to see Capcom unveil a series of trailers showcasing the diverse arsenal of weapons we can wield in the game. Recently, they’ve spotlighted two fan-favorite tools of the trade: the Long Sword and the Charge Blade. These trailers have only fueled my excitement for the upcoming adventure!

For numerous individuals who favor quick agility, the preferred tool is often a swift-moving one. Furthermore, this Long Sword offers a variety of combination strikes, along with the capacity to deflect incoming attacks. Additionally, there’s a Spirit Meter that fills up with successful attacks, enabling you to inflict greater damage on monsters when full.

In essence, the Charge Blade is a versatile tool that switches between different operating modes. Its standard mode operates like a swift one-handed sword, while you simultaneously guard yourself with a shield. By building up enough energy in battle, you can merge these into Axe mode, which enables you to execute more powerful blows using your larger, heavier weapon.

Have a peek at the videos provided to get an idea of how each of the two weapons might appear. Don’t forget to review past weapon summaries for the Great Sword, Heavy Bowgun, Insect Glaive, Gunlance, and Hunting Horn as well.

2025 finds me eagerly anticipating the release of my next gaming adventure, Monster Hunter Wilds, exclusively on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Can’t wait to catch a sneak peek at what Capcom has in store for us at Gamescom Opening Night Live, happening later this month!
