– Added new backgrounds, poses, nameplates, and titles to hunter profiles.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve recruited two new Support Hunters – Mina with her Sword & Shield and Fabius armed with a Lance! You can bring them along on your quests once you’ve completed the main mission “A Hunter’s Pride.” However, keep in mind that Fabius will only be available during this seasonal event, so don’t miss out!

Enhanced the Quest Counter by incorporating a selection option, enabling players to choose their preferred Support Hunters who will accompany them when activating an SOS flare.

Bases and Facilities

– Added item boxes outside of the hunter’s tent in each base camp and the Grand Hub.

– Added an outdoor item box as a camp gear option that can be set at Pop-up Camps.

– The Change Lobby Menu can now be accessed at your tent in base camps or Pop-up Camps.

After finishing the Lagiacrus mission, you have the option to change your current handler between Alma and Erik, or alternatively, go back to Alma if that’s what you prefer.

Now, there’s a new feature in the Provisions Stockpile where you can swap items for seasonal events!

– A new Festival of Accord event will be held from July 23 to August 6, 2025.

During the Festival of Accord, some elements will undergo a temporary change: Erik and Gemma’s outfits, Seikret adornments, the Handler’s attire, the Diva’s song selections, the decorations in the Grand Hub, the menu at the Canteen, and the games of Barrel Bowling along with its Barrel Bowling Bombs.

During the Festival of Accord, some things will be different for a while: Erik and Gemma’s clothes, some decorations in Seikret, the Handler’s costume, the Diva’s playlist, the decorations in the Grand Hub, the food options at the Canteen, and the games of Barrel Bowling as well as its special items.

Barrel Bowling now offers extra prize spots and unique setups for special seasonal occurrences. Moreover, the Barrel Bombs in these events function differently compared to regular large ones, adding an exciting twist to the gameplay.

Introduced an automatic option for choosing Armor Spheres during armor upgrades at the smithy, and any extra points are transformed into Armor Spheres as well.

Implemented an automated function in the Smithy that chooses reinforcement resources for Artian weapons and transforms any extra points into these same resources.

Miscellaneous

The new mission titled “Trembling Blue Currents” has now been incorporated into your game. To access it, you should first depart from Scarlet Forest and move to a different location. Ensure that you have completed the main mission “A World Turned Upside Down” and the side mission “Forest Doshaguma” prior to this.

– A new side mission titled “Clear Skies, Possible Sandstorm” has been incorporated into the game. (You can access this mission following the completion of the primary quest “World Upside Down.”)

The additional quest titled ‘New Fashion, Old Feelings’ is now accessible in the game. This becomes available once you have completed both the main mission ‘A World Turned Upside Down’ and the side mission ‘Smithy’s Seal of Quality.’

A fresh section has been incorporated into the Scarlet Forest, accessible only during the additional mission titled Trembling Blue Currents.

In the Windward Plains Base Camp, a fresh conversation option is now available for Ferdinand. Engage him in discussion and fulfill the prerequisites to receive a brand-new pendant as a reward.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that I can now effortlessly keep tabs on environmental updates right here in the Grand Hub! It even sends me alerts about ongoing events, like the enchanting Festival of Accord.

Steam®

Here’s a more user-friendly way to phrase the warning message:

“A dialogue will show up before the application launches, informing you that there might be issues if your graphics card drivers are outdated, your operating system isn’t compatible, or if you’re using compatibility mode.

– New customizable keyboard configuration controls have been added.

The latest technologies, DLSS4 and FSR4, are now compatible for enhancing graphics. To utilize DLSS4, you’ll need a NVIDIA RTX 2000 series or more advanced GPU, while FSR4 requires an AMD Radeon 9000 series or superior GPU [As of June 27, 2025].

Now, NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS) is available for multiple frame generation in your graphics settings. If you have an NVIDIA RTX 5000 series or a superior model, you can boost your frames by 2 to 4 times, or opt for “NVIDIA DLSS Auto”, which intelligently toggles the frame generation feature based on workload.

In the graphics settings, the options for scaling up images (upscaling) and generating frames have been divided. This means that you can adjust the frame generation independently of the upscaling setting. For instance, using NVIDIA RTX 3000 hardware, you could opt for NVIDIA DLSS image enhancement along with AMD FSR frame creation, or other combinations like these.

– You can now copy the Lobby ID/Hunter ID via the Start Menu.

– You can now copy the Squad ID via the Squad Menu.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about the latest update! Now, I can turn off those immersive yet sometimes distracting water and lava distortion effects. It’s like diving into a clearer ocean or exploring a more stable volcano, making gameplay even smoother for me.

– Added a feature that lets you quickly restock the item pouch and ammo pouch.

– The ammo pouch is now automatically restocked when activating an item loadout.

– Added a “Take All” feature to Nata’s Material Retrieval facility.

– Added a “Remove All Decorations” function to the “Edit Decorations” sub-menu.

– Added the ability to check the Squad Leader’s hunter profile from the Squad Card.

Introduced a new feature that shows the duration of arena quests and similar time-based quests in the objective list. Additionally, you can now review your personal best times for these quests.

– Equipment Appearance can now be viewed via Equipment Info or Palico Info in the Start Menu.

Introduced new features for “Effects” and “Character Display” within the photo mode. Now, you can choose gestures and poses even when viewing from the first-person perspective.

We’ve introduced a new section called “All Non-Arena Quests” on the hunter’s profile, which doesn’t include the total number of times weapons have been used. Previously labeled as “All Quests,” this category has now been relocated to the bottom of the page. Additionally, you can now reset the weapon usage counts directly from the specified quest category.

You are now able to erase the “Optimal Playtimes” data associated with arena quests that you have saved in your hunter profile and quest log. However, please note that any times submitted for the Expedition Record Board rankings cannot be removed.

Here are the new features introduced:
– “Health Gauge Warning” feature has been included.
– Under “Display Elapsed Time for Some Quests”, a “Fixed” display option is now available.
– An “Activate Skill/Item Effects” option has been implemented.
– A new option, “Equipped Talisman Effect”, has been added.

– Lastly, an “Excess Item Gathering Settings” option is now at your disposal.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 Balance Adjustments and Bug Fixes

– Resolved a problem that occurred during Barrel Bowling when specific actions were taken, causing the game to stop responding to user input.

– Made it less likely for the same Barrel Bowling pin setups to occur on consecutive days.

– Fixed an issue where stumps would sometimes appear floating in the sky in the Grand Hub.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that even when the weather takes a turn for the worse in Kunafa and Azuz, we can now make material retrieval requests without a hitch! The process of item collection remains unaffected by inclement weather conditions.

Monsters

– Adjusted how often monsters will discover Pop-up Camps.

– Tempered wounds in future Free Challenge Quests will now be found in fixed locations.

Corrected a problem that caused the size of the target monster to fluctuate when starting an investigation with just one chance left.

Player

General

– You now regain control of your character slightly faster after starting a quest.

Adjustments have been made to make player actions more immediate, noticeably during horseback riding on the Secret steed.

– Crouched movement now also benefits from faster recovery time for the bleeding status effect.

As a passionate player, I took care of a problem that previously prevented the impact of the Slicked Blade skill from fading away while transitioning between the training ground and other areas in the game.

– Resolved a problem that allowed players to carry various kinds of Large Barrel Bombs in their inventory, if they picked up a Large Barrel Bomb that was already deployed, while also having a Blossom Barrel Bomb.

– Resolved a problem that occurred when the dash function was set to one press; in such cases, if the character was crouched before dashing, they would begin a “running” motion rather than a “dashing” motion upon standing up.

– Fixed an issue where the webbed state would not be properly removed by Purewasp Delivery.

– Other minor fixes and related adjustments have been made for all weapon actions.

Sword & Shield

In a straightforward manner, the raw damage and stun power of Shield Attack, Shield Bash, and Hard Bash have experienced a slight boost.

– Perfect Rush’s finishing portion has had its raw damage slightly increased.

– Adjusted it to make it harder to consecutively chain the Guard Slash move into itself.

– Expanded the timeframe during which Sliding Swipe can dodge attacks slightly.

– Chop and Side Slash raw damage have been slightly decreased.

– Counter Slash raw damage has been decreased.

Now, I’ve made a correction so that Focus Strikes won’t accidentally hit the same injuries multiple times on specific monsters.

Dual Blades

As a gamer, I’m pumped! When I activate Demon Mode immediately following a dodge, I can adjust my movement direction on the fly now!

During the Demon Mode, performing a dodge followed by a Blade Dance now links to a Blade Dance II. However, if the Demon Gauge doesn’t have sufficient energy, it defaults to a Blade Dance I instead.

– Blade Dance II responsiveness has been improved.

– Movement speed during Demon Mode has been increased.

The power behind fundamental attacks such as Sixfold Demonic Slice, Rapid Demon Dash, and Swift Demon Thrust has been boosted in terms of raw damage.

– Screw Slicer raw damage, elemental scaling, and ailment scaling have been greatly increased.

– Focus Strike: Turning Tide raw damage has been increased.

– Heavenly Blade Dance raw damage has been increased.

In simpler terms, we’ve made minor adjustments to the growth of elemental powers and ailments during Blade Dance, and we’ve boosted the basic damage output.

In simpler terms, the extra power-up you get from Demon Boost Mode has been slightly reduced, but the effect it has on elements has been made stronger.

– Resolved a problem that caused the Power Prolonger ability to extend the duration of Demon Boost Mode enhancements beyond their intended limit.

– Fixed an issue where the camera would shake unintentionally during Demon Mode.

Long Sword

– Elemental scaling for Crimson Slash II has been significantly increased.

– Raw damage and elemental/ailment scaling for Crimson Slash III has been increased.

– Crimson Slash III now chains faster into Spirit Blade I.

– Spirit Release Slash raw damage has been slightly increased.

– Spirit Roundslash raw damage has been increased when the Spirit Gauge is red.

– Spinning Crimson Slash raw damage has been increased.

– Iai Spirit Slash raw damage has been increased when the Spirit Gauge is white and yellow.

– Elemental/ailment scaling for Crimson Slash I has been decreased.

Hammer

After a successful offset attack, you’re now able to link into a specific follow-up action when the monster is heavily staggered.

– You can now chain from a Focus Blow: Earthquake into a Charged Side Blow.

– Offset effects have been added to Charged Upswing and Mighty Charge Upswing.

– Charge levels now increase faster after chaining into a Charged Step from a dodge.

– Mighty Charge Slam raw damage and elemental scaling have been increased.

– The hit boxes for certain attacks, such as Big Bang, have been adjusted.

– Fixed an issue where the damage display would appear twice for Big Bang IV.

Hunting Horn

Executing Focus Strike now causes a secondary sound to resonate, following the initial attack.

Executing Focus Strike now causes a Resonating Echo to be triggered at the end of the attack’s impact. To avoid this echo, simply keep pressing R2 (PlayStation 5), RT (Xbox), or the R key (default on PC) as you conclude the action.

– Hitting a monster with a single hit of Resounding Melody now triggers a soundwave.

– Your Seikret no longer stops when performing while mounted.

– The damage hitbox for Echo Bubble has been significantly increased.

– The evade window for Offset Melody have been increased.

Rectified a problem that caused a hunting horn switch to mistakenly show melodies that hadn’t been performed as an Encore.

– Resolved a problem that occasionally prevented successful synchronization of attacks when connecting with Offset Melody.

Resolved a problem where the stored notes didn’t correctly restart during a Special Performance when linked sequentially.

Lance

– You can now chain into a Charge Counter from Focus Strike: Victory Thrust.

– Adjusted the hitbox of Focus Strike: Victory Thrust to make it easier to land.

Rectified a problem where specific shield strikes during Focus Strike: Resolve might accidentally heal the monster’s injuries instead.

Gunlance

Corrected a glitch that led to an unexpectedly high probability of additional hits being critical hits following a critical strike, specifically when executing multiple strikes like the Multi Wyrmstake Full Blast action.

Switch Axe

In Focus Mode, you’ll find it simpler to tailor the gap between you and the monsters when employing Unbridled Slash and Full Release Slash.

Adjusting the left stick towards your player character’s direction slightly will lessen the impact of the Element Discharge Finisher’s reversal effect.

Boosts the size of subsequent explosions caused by sword strikes significantly, especially when using Element Phials.

Enhanced the intensity of subsequent blasts from Unbridled Slash, Full Release Slash, and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash significantly when utilizing Elemental Phials.

– Axe: Follow-up Heavy Slam and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash raw damage has been increased.

In Axe Mode, the quantity of Switch Gauge gained from standard attacks has been boosted.

Enhanced the base damage and Amp Gauge recharge rate for the skill “Axe: Morph Rising Double Slash”, while also decreasing its Switch Gauge depletion.

– Sword: Triple Slash raw damage and amp gauge recovery amount have been increased.

– The amount of Switch Gauge consumed when performing Sword: Overhead Slash has been decreased.

I’ll rephrase that for you: They corrected a problem where the speed at which damage increased from the Rapid Morph ability wasn’t being applied to Jumping Morph Slash during landings.

In simpler terms, they fixed a bug where the power-up for damage with the Rapid Morph skill didn’t work when you landed after using Jumping Morph Slash.

Charge Blade

Now, guard positions come with Perfect Guard recognition, allowing you to seamlessly transition into Savage Axe Slash following a successful Perfect Guard from a defensive stance.

The raw damage that results from linking an explosive vial with the Super Amplified Elemental Discharge, particularly in specific attacks like the Amplified Elemental Discharge, has been boosted.

– Raw damage for Amped Element Discharge and Super Amped Element Discharge has been increased.

– Weak Slash, Return Stroke, and Shield Thrust raw damage have been slightly increased.

The strength of the raw damage inflicted by Element Discharge, Amped Element Discharge, and Super Amped Element Discharge with an axe has been boosted.

– Impact Phial explosion raw damage has been increased while in Sword Boost Mode.

The speed at which Element Discharge links with other fundamental axe techniques, such as Axe: Dash Slam and Axe: Lateral Fade Slash, has been increased.

– The raw damage for multi-hit attacks while in Power Axe Mode has been decreased.

– Corrected a problem that prevented the increase in phial explosion damage during Element Discharge I or comparable attacks using an Impact Phial from taking effect when phials had been upgraded.

– Corrected a problem that caused the sharpness to drop excessively during a guard point when Elemental Boost was turned on.

Or simply,

– Resolved an issue causing overly fast sharpness loss during a guard point with Elemental Boost active.

As a gamer, I recently tackled an issue where the rapid morph ability’s damage amplification wasn’t properly applied to specific jump attacks when using the axe mode. Now, it should be functioning correctly!

Heavy Bowgun

Boosted the quantity of Ignition Gauge obtained from firing Spread Ammo 1 and Spread Ammo 2. [Updated 2025/06/27]

– Fixed an issue where it was difficult to evade after firing Slicing Ammo.

Adjusted a problem that caused the Burst skill to trigger with less hits than planned, when employing Cluster Bombs or Wyvernblast Ignition.

Bowguns

– Fixed an issue where the skill Airborne would not activate correctly for spread ammo.

Bow

I’ve resolved a problem that used to cause bow coatings to automatically switch to “Unequip” under specific circumstances.

Support Hunters

Rectified a problem that made Support Hunters on Seikret emerge from their hiding spots prematurely when Jin Dahaad launched his extensive area-of-effect attack, exposing them to unnecessary harm.

– Increased the attack power of Support Hunters for when the quest leader is at HR 100 or higher.

– Adjusted the behavior of Support Hunters when mounting a monster.

– Added a follow-up move for when Olivia successfully performs an offset attack.

Seikret

– Improved the speed of response when calling your Seikret.

– Improved the response speed for controlling your Seikret after mounting from a Seikret call.

In auto-ride mode on your Seikret, it was previously observed that if you reached the location before a big monster, the Seikret might keep circling the area instead of moving forward. This issue has now been resolved.

As a devoted player, I’ve noticed that using items while mounted on my Seikret has become more reactive in these scenarios:

1. Post-weapon switch situations while still mounted
2. Immediately after closing the map and using an item
3. Utilizing an item promptly following another item usage

– It is now possible to dismount from the Seikret while drifting.

Palico

– Fixed an issue where Palicoes would stop using Vigorwasp Delivery under certain condition

Miscallaenous

System

– Increased the amount of Guild Points awarded for delivering a Wyvern Egg.

– The Skill Info window can now be quickly opened in various screens.

– Changed the Investigations sub-menu option “Delete Investigation” button.

Rearranged the “Available Equipment Details” button within the “Arena Quests” and “Challenge Quests” dropdown menu.

– Food Skills can now be viewed in the Skill Info window via Equipment Info in the Start Menu.

In the Active Skills section of the Skill Information window, you can observe the specific impacts of Food Skills now.

Now, you have the convenience to immediately accept and depart on a quest straight from a Quest Invitation Notice that appears within your essential chat notifications.

We took away the ‘skip’ feature from crucial chat alerts and enabled the map to be opened concurrently, allowing notifications to remain active.

We removed the option to skip important chat messages and made it possible to open the map at the same time those messages are still showing up.

Modified the map settings to prevent it from automatically transitioning to different levels when a big monster is being focused on.

Information about the lobby is now accessible on the top right section of both the Start Menu and Quest Counter displays.

– The Monster Field Guide can now be viewed in the Quest Menu while in your tent.

– Resolved a problem that allowed decorative items to be placed in slots they shouldn’t have been put in.

Or simply,

– I solved the problem of incorrectly equipping decorative pieces.

Resolved a problem that caused nameplates, previously acquired, to occasionally fail to show up in the Hunter’s Profile settings on occasion.

Steam®

– Adjusted the amount of VRAM used with texture streaming, resulting in reduced overall VRAM usage.

Corrected a problem where the Estimated Virtual RAM (VRAM) Usage in the Display/Graphics settings was underestimated. This means that the estimated VRAM usage might seem higher, but due to an additional optimization, the actual VRAM usage has decreased, so the current minimum and recommended system requirements remain the same.

I’ll rephrase that for you: Resolved a problem where the actual VRAM usage wasn’t showing accurately when adjusting the Distant Shadow Quality setting within the graphics options.

I’ll rephrase that for you: We resolved a problem that prevented the hunter’s chest armor from appearing on the Display Armor option when adjusting the settings within the Display Options under the Change Appearance menu.

As a dedicated player, I recently tackled a problem that was causing the cooldown on mantles to reset whenever I engaged in activities like eating or crafting weapons and armor in the Grand Hub. Now, everything’s running smoothly!

– Resolved a problem that caused quick teleportation within the Training Area to revert specific states like mantle cool-down timers.

– Improved the response time for using items after exiting a tent.

– Fixed an issue where blocked users were not properly removed from the Followers list.

– Fixed an issue where incorrect icons would appear for offline members in the Member List.

Adjusted a problem in the Equipment Appearance menu, ensuring that the focus remains on the currently layered armor.

Quests

– Accepting and joining quests will be possible from the quest counter during an Environment Link.

– Made adjustments to reduce interruptions when joining a quest via an invite notification.

– Adjusted the unlock conditions for the “Social Butterfly” Hunter Highlight.

As a gamer, I recently solved a problem that occurred when kicking off a quest alone while the ‘Automatic SOS Flare’ was activated. Previously, an SOS signal would go out automatically under such circumstances. Now, it won’t happen, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for solo adventurers like myself.

Resolved a problem where the departure animation would get stuck if the target quest concluded precisely at that moment in the animation, preventing the player from controlling their character afterwards.

Resolved an error that prevented the Lucky Voucher’s influence from affecting the selected mission when receiving a quest invitation from another player while already engaged in a quest.

In your personal space, outside of a Field Survey, it was possible for a multi-monster hunt (referred to as a Great Hunt) to occur even when one of those monsters wasn’t native to that specific environment. The issue has now been resolved.

Revised: Resolved a problem that allowed players to substantially deplete a monster’s health using poison or similar afflictions prior to conducting a Field Investigation.

– Resolved a problem that occurred when finishing a Free Challenge Quest without internet connection, leading the game to save incorrectly and display inaccurate lower rank times on the Quest Counter.

Resolved a problem that occasionally prevented the intended monster from showing up during multi-target investigations.

Improved a problem that occurred when several players entered an Arena Quest at the same time, causing the total count of participants in the rankings to be displayed incorrectly.

– New preventative measures have been put in place for invalid or fraudulent investigations.

Any completion times that clearly seem fake won’t be included in the rankings, and those involved may face automatic suspensions or limitations on features.

Other

– Fixed an issue where some voice lines would not trigger properly.

– Fixed various text issues.

– Fixed other miscellaneous issues.

Given the scope of this patch, don’t be surprised if Capcom releases a follow-up update for it.
