Plot: Ji Mo stands out due to her unique ability to perceive monsters. On a regular shopping trip at the market, she encounters a monster, crossing paths with a seasoned hunter named Meng. As it turns out, there indeed exist monsters in our world, and Ji Mo finds herself entangled in fresh, turbulent events.

Monster Run Begins: The Awakening of Ji Mo

The narrative commences as Ji Mo, having spent years confined in a psychiatric facility due to her claims about monsters, steps out into the world once more. Unbeknownst to many, her ability to perceive these terrifying creatures is genuine. Yet, an unprecedented monster menace looms over the globe, and it’s only a matter of time before the seasoned monster hunter Meng (Yue) makes his appearance. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, Ji must join forces with Meng to confront this impending monster tempest.

In another place, Wai (Lotus) covets Ji’s strength and dispatches hunters to seize her. To evade capture, Meng and Ji must collaborate, not only for their own safety but also to protect the world, and uncover methods to contain the monsters in our realm.

The acting is commendable all around, and the various battles craft thrilling scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s as if we’ve stumbled upon a universe that invites us back for another round of epic encounters.

Final Thoughts –Monster Run is a great world-building fantasy film.
