Moon Studios, creators of the Ori series and upcoming title No Rest for the Wicked on PS5, have acquired their autonomy from the company that publishes Grand Theft Auto (GTA), Take-Two Interactive. This decision empowers Moon Studios to carry out their creative vision without any limitations.
Originally slated for publication by Private Division, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (as reported by Eurogamer), the game “No Rest for the Wicked” in Early Access is now going to be self-published by Moon Studios. This change follows the sale of Private Division late last year. Approximately four months later, Moon Studios has declared that they will handle the publishing responsibilities for their upcoming action-RPG. This announcement coincides with a significant update for the game in development, marking an exciting day for the studio.
