They announced that there will be no additional DLC for MK1 and are moving on to a new project instead. This information aligns with earlier reports suggesting that future DLC was cancelled due to the perceived poor sales of Khaos Reigns.

The team acknowledges requests to keep supporting the game and intends to fix bugs and send out balance adjustments, but there will no longer be new DLC characters or story chapters added moving forward. A subsequent post acknowledges fan disappointment, but emphasizes that the studio needs to focus on its next project in order to make it as fantastic as possible.
